Are you Elite? The 3rd-Annual Karma Cup Cannabis Competition Brings Top-Shelf Entertainment to Toronto October 22-23

Toronto, Ontario  October 12, 2016

The Karma Cup, a two-day elite medical cannabis and hash competition, medical marijuana festival, and industry trade show is set to take place for it’s third year in downtown Toronto from 10AM to 6PM on October 22 and 23.

The 3rd-annual Karma Cup is proud to announce the addition of Dr. Fameus of The Disco Biscuits and Michie Mee, Canadian rapper and actor. Canada’s first notable female MC, she is considered a national hip-hop pioneer.to its live music line-up. The Cup will feature weekend-long entertainment by Illumination Presents on over two acres of festival space at a prime downtown location, including music, live glassblowing demonstrations, vendor and exhibit booths, a live art show creating cannabis-positive art, speakers’ stage, food trucks, awards ceremony. An after-hours VIP Gala will feature comedy by Toronto’s own home-grown, award-winning comics Mike Rita, Drew Behm, Jon Steinberg, Hunter Collins, and 2016 SiriusXM Top Comic Chris Robinson.

Free Shuttle Bus from Union Station (Bremner St. Exit). Medical Marijuana License NOT required for entry to the festival.

Karma Cup judges received 109 samples on September 30 and have been given three weeks to judge and vote on their favourites in fifteen categories – the most in Canada – including five cannabis bud categories, three shatter categories, budder, THC distillate, disposable vape pens, solventless, edibles, topicals, and functional glass.

Already known as a premiere event, The Karma Cup will bring a production in 2016 never before seen by the Canadian cannabis scene. Judges and general admission passes will be made available to the public and a medical card is NOT required for entry.

 

General admission attendees will have access to a full medicating area on site, as well as live demos and performances. Judges will be treated to many perks including free entry to local Vapor lounges, the after-hours VIP party dinner.
