Stoked to have the opportunity to review this awesome strain! Adirondack Apple, aka ADK Apple, is a heavy indica cross with a wicked gassy and piney nose and a sweeter apple spice back end.
Named after the region she was tested in and I grew up in! Lovely Central New York! The Adirondack State Park is a staple of New York’s vast outdoor landscape. It is home to many sports, the Olympics, wonderful wildlife, and thousands of lakes, streams, and mountains. And! Home to lots of talented pot growers!!!!

ADK Apple gets her apple terps from the Big Apple cut I selected from seed by Seed Junky Genetics to make this cross. Big Apple is (Apple Fritter x Sherb bx1) female, crossed using a Hazelnut Cream stud from Exotic Genetix. (Miami Haze x Cookies n cream). Miami Haze is a tri-cross of Three landrace strains.

She absolutely crushes indoors. I’ve had nothing but success with her. A few phenotypes will come out with massive baseball bat kolas and be total gas. The smaller, more bushy phenotypes had the more playful, gassy apple sweeter terps, not candy. Once again, these are not candy terps, LOL. The musty apple gas on my keeper was bonkers. A nice Heavy couch-lock indica high where all I want to do is kick back and enjoy.

Pulling out the purps with the strain was as easy as starting a wood-burning stove. A nice scheduled depletion of Nitrogen in the batch sets this baby off to the races. She purples out heavy and fast. Cold-induced stress will accelerate this situation.

I ran this cut for two years, and she outperformed lots of other veteran cuts in the stable. She has recently been crossed into Rainbow Zoap. A RS11 x The Zoap cross! To make Adirondack Rainbowz! This new cross will be feminized and have a large seed drop.

Flowering time on the ADK Apple was raining 8-9 weeks, with some of the girls wanting to run 10 weeks. A truly stable strain made from regular seeds. This baby is a true gem! We are planning to dial it back by using a male ADK Apple to cross back into the ADK Rainbowz.
