WE are that hope, the hope of the world. Not just you and I, but our country – we aren’t uniquely important because we are without error, nor because we stumble so often. Nor that we have so often failed in our dreams. We are the hope of the entire world and we can unite, the good and just people of our country (and I don’t mean all of us; some have abandoned America, in fact, abandoned being fully human).

I know that this writing is not cannabis related – but cannabis speaks to what America can be.

And the time for the meek is over. I really don’’t respond well to bullies. And I am fed up. We will raise our flag, our brave Stars and Stripes, and plant it, again, in the ground. And I will stand in defense of that flag and this country and each person looking to join me – gay, Latino, Muslim, immigrant, black and Indian and each of you who I don’t know or have foolishly categorized.

Let no one with evil and selfish intent stand in our way. We are done playing nice; the dark thinks that because we are kind, because we want to see others prosper with us, because injustice gnaws on us, that we are weak, that we can be subdued and controlled. But those thoughtless and cruel oligarchs, our greed compromised media, the cowardly bigots, the small minded woman haters, the falsely christian; these horrid creatures actively destroying our land, you are about to have your throats ripped out. We are going to stamp you out like you never were.

Then, the good and the just will rise from that fight and the rest of the world with them, and we will confront our extinction bravely together, and fight, around our hope, and all of us will know we had our hands on this. That we, WE, saved ourselves in a time of ultimate peril.

We must not fail, for the fate of all of us, the good and just, hangs in the balance.

After this Fourth of July, when our hope was born, and now in the year of 2024, as we recognized the 248 years our country has struggled, I call on all of you – Stand Your Ground. I would be proud to stand next to each of you.
