Solventless-Focused “Hashery” Dispensary Set to Open in Hackensack, New Jersey

Hashery, an adult-use marijuana dispensary, will become the first business of its kind to open in Hackensack, New Jersey. Licensed by the state of New Jersey and local agencies, Hashery is a 4,000-square-foot retail space located in one of North Jersey’s most heavily trafficked areas off Route 17.

The brick-and-mortar recreational dispensary will offer premier customer service with a convenient drive-thru option as well as seven in-store shopping kiosks and twelve checkout registers. Along with the self-serve kiosks, Hashery will be fully staffed with experienced, trained cannabis professionals ready to aid customers with product and strain selections.

Hashery will be soft launching on 12/15 and celebrating its grand opening on 12/16. It will be open to all adults ages 21+ from 8 AM to 10 PM, 7 days a week. Core offerings will include smokeable flower, concentrates, edibles, capsules, syringes, tinctures, topical creams, and vaporizers along with branded merchandise.

The group behind Hashery specializes in the manufacturing and development of products and services for the cannabis industry – all with a focus on solventless “hash,” as the Hashery name suggests. Hashery was co-founded by Sam Jurist, the CEO of popular brands Focus V and Rosin Tech Labs.

“For me, Hashery is about bringing the culture of the cannabis industry to New Jersey. The shops currently open in the state feel very sterile, lack personality, and are generally pretty boring,” he stated. “We have been in the industry for eight years and can’t wait to bring our expertise to my home state of New Jersey.”

New Jersey legend and brand advisor Leonard Coleman added, “We are ecstatic to provide the city of Hackensack’s business community with a safe space to garner cannabis education and help progress the state’s rising industry.” Coleman is optimistic about what the store can offer the local economy. “We are a local company with roots here in New Jersey. Along with easing cannabis access, Hashery is creating jobs and will offer community activations.”
