Gold Header Ad
reserve your ad hereGreetings earthlings! I’m The Rev, and today I want to share a very special strain of cannabis offered by Kingdom Organic Seeds and she’s a doozy. The Dark Matter F3 generation has it all, plus now, new in the F3 generation she is fairly stable and uniform—most of the offspring are very similar.
Easy to grow, very big yields with large and dense AF buds, very appealing dank lemony citrus smells and flavors, including a very sweet (almost sickeningly sweet) note—delicious! Let’s dive in and find out a bit more about this gem, shall we?

Dark Matter F3, The Rundown—Hierarchy Etc.
The Dark Matter will give you a giant yield with a deadly punch. A cash cropper style plant here all the way. I always tried to preserve the Matanuska Valley Thunderfuck here through the F-generations selection and it does really stand out. The Dark Matter is extremely adaptable for both indoor and outdoor growing. Indoors she stays pretty stout in my gardens, but outdoors she can turn into a monster plant. Either way she yields huge! Very dense large buds.
If you are looking for a highly superior variety to make hashish from, the Dark Matter is your hunny here. The hash made from the Dark Matter is very blonde and uber gooey—not to mention deadly as hell—LoL. For sure one of my top 5 KOS varieties to make hash from. Def DO NOT operate heavy machinery after smoking Dark Matter hash!

The Dark Matter f3 line will be mostly a stable line, and I chose very similar f2 breeder females to help along these lines. This is a really fun variety and you should really try it out. In a world where so many varieties seem the same, I think you’ll find this one represents a real old school stoned vibe.
The F2 Breeders
I used a single male Dark Matter f2 as my paternal breeder for the f3 generation. He had it all, including serious terpene expressions that were at once very sour and sweet, kind of a super sweet mango meets a tart lemon lime. I had 5 initial female f2 breeders selected. I only used 3 of these females to make these final f3 seeds. 2 of the females had a slight problem, they still turned out awesome, just not as awesome as the other 3 females.
All 3 female f2 breeders used were epic examples of the Dark Matter. Just covered with resin and rock-hard buds. These f3 seeds are gonna grow some killer monsters in your garden, just like the Dark Matter is known for, yessir!

Kingdom Organic Seeds uses selected normal/regular and exceptional breeder plants to continue any generation. No feminizing, no hard-backcrossing, no reversing, no selfing. This keeps plants sexually very healthy, as well as overall better genetic driven health. When you bottleneck the genetics after good traits, you often get bad ones as well. Bottlenecking like backcrossing, etc, will usually lock in good things like high resin production say, but there’s more. It can also lock in recessive expressions that suck. Like weak branches/plants that just wanna fall over, et al.
Growing Information
GROWER: The Rev
She’s basically bulletproof and she adapts quickly to her environment. She is fairly stinky when growing/flowering, a real dank sweetness that can travel that comes from the Matanuska mostly. Outdoors or indoors, large or small, she kicks ass.

Please do not sprout these on a 24/0 photoperiod and KOS recommends 16/8 for sprouting and until 30 days old. Then switch to 18/6. Alternately…
Using a flowering photoperiod of 12/12 on sprouts for their first 10 days above ground, then switching them to an 18/6 photoperiod will allow you to easily sex them at 30 days of age—give or take 3 days.
Always allow plants to get at least 55 days old from sprouting, before starting to flower for maximum resin production. Plants grown from seed work much better outdoors in the ground than clones do. Alternately, clones work much better in containers than plants from seeds do. Sprout seeds in ambient temps of 75 – 85 deg. F. Obviously KOS always recommends organically growing our gear in living soil for the full appreciation of smells and flavors, among many other reasons.

Afterword Smoking with Rev

Whenever I smoke the Dark Matter, it always brings me back to the early eighties. We used to get this Mexican weed that was actually pretty decent quality for the time. The hightype was an unmistakable joyride of stupid, LoL! The Dark Matter F3 is just like that. I smoked a lot of the F3 generation in hash form and it is a blast! Not what I would call functional, or clear, but you will for sure have a lot of fun with a lot of laughing. She is a classic when it comes to cottonmouth and red eye… Heavy duty for both, heh heh. Don’t miss this one for a trip back in time to that old school smoke. Here’s the link to directly purchase some of these seeds from KOS, you’ll thank me later, heh heh: Dark Matter F3 at Kingdom Organic Seeds

- REv 😊

I'm The Rev, and I have been with SKUNK for about a decade now. I hail from Southern California, spent mucho time in Northern California, and now reside in Southern Oregon; always coastal. I am an all natural style cannabis grower and I have written a couple books on the subject - check out True Living Organics 2nd Edition on Amazon - I have been growing for over 45 years, and I have been breeding cannabis for over 30 years. Check out kingdomorganicseeds.com to see some exotic selections. Growing connoisseur cannabis is what I teach mostly, growing it in living soil without using liquid organic nutrients to feed the plant. I am also a highly skilled synthetics grower, hydroponics, aeroponics, DWC/SWC/NFT, Ebb and Flow, and soilless, but I cringe when smoking synthetic grown herbs, so for the last 15 years or so I preach the artisan style of all natural growing, specializing in container growing. Cheers and welcome aboard.
