Building on the successful video series that I’ve hosted on IG for three years, I am very happy that my Connecting with Cannabis (CWC) series has expanded to the SKUNK community! 

This column is for the READERS! Think of it as a “Dear Beautiful” spiritual advice column that is here to help you submit your questions, opportunities, and possibilities so that I may channel the Cannabis plant spirit and provide the guidance from the Universe you seek!

Each column I will be choosing from submitted requests, and channeling with the Cannabis Flower of Life (CFOL) Tarot deck, as well as the numerous other wisdoms that I utilize such as: past life, energy work, Tropical, Sidereal, and Ancient astrology, Palmistry, Guides, Totems, Quantum Physics, etc., to help you connect to source wisdom that our beloved Cannabis plant holds!

Connecting with Cannabis (CWC) June 20/20 – Career Seeker

In this second edition of our Connecting with Cannabis column, I was approached by an IG friend about connecting to plant spirit to assist her in career matters. The querent said that she had spent a lot of time, effort and energy in becoming a teaching professional, but that it was lacking alignment with her true self and she didn’t know where to go or what to do now that she had spent so much time in one area that wasn’t satisfying her. 

I advised her that she is holding onto past ideals and attachment to the hard work that she did to get there and that these attachments are not serving her next highest self anymore. I advised that her current positioning on the globe in the NE area is pretty correct for a certain level of career notoriety, but that she also has significant triggers in her astrology chart that need to be assessed to see if that is the culprit of her current feelings about career choices coming to the surface. I advised about her Chiron being triggered, her elemental energies contributing to her feeling of being “stuck” and that the areas of growth in this lifetime that she is seeking as a Sagittarius North Node suggest that she continue her academic pursuits but to also start diving into more ethereal matters because her soul’s REAL WORK in this lifetime is about evolved GROWTH, not just the intellectual advancement of her current, or any future, career focus. 

These are some of the things that I found in her charts and with the CFOL Tarot reading…

After I pulled her astrological birth chart I found out that she had a lot of Water and Earth elements, which can quickly become MUD if the person doesn’t balance out their elemental energies. In this case, she will need to choose one of her stronger elements (water = emotional nature and/or earth = logical, practical nature) in situations to stop becoming stuck in her own mud.

Her astrological chart also showed tremendous triggering of her Chiron in the 10th house and in the sign of Aries (Mars-ruled) as her MC (career) and also opposite her sun and in close proximity (conjunctions) to her Fortune and Jupiter on the cusp. All of this told me that the challenges she would be triggered by in her career are around not receiving notoriety or acknowledgment for the hard work she had done, which could either keep her locked in a pattern of disappointment (and possibly wanting a career change) around such situations OR, she could choose to face and release them and this would instead bring her to her Fortune and Jupiter abundance for learning her Chiron healing lessons! 

I also felt called to pull her Astrocartography chart since she was inquiring into a career change and because she is a Cancer Ascendant (wanting to move and travel in life). This mapping of a person’s astrological birth chart against the energetic grid system on our Earth is usually a direct indicator of the beneficial areas/places on the globe to activate certain parts of your chart, including your MC and beneficial planetary lines (like Jupiter). Her chart showed that her current NE environment is good placement with the Sun on her Ascendant line here gifting her recognition, beauty, and the respect and high regard she seeks BUT with Chiron triggering her in areas of notoriety, that any such situation happening in this NE area is amplified to an INTENSITY within her life. 

After I had acquired this insight into her soul’s current lifetime journey, I was then led by plant spirit to find a nearby sacred labyrinth which activated a really powerful reading for her dilemma, and one in which plant spirit spoke directly to the overall mapping of her soul in this lifetime related to her immediate question around career direction. This is what plant spirit spoke through the Cannabis Flower of Life (CFOL) Tarot pull… 

RECENT PAST – Our Root chakra and the Roots of the cannabis plant: the Death card reversed means that you have been resisting a change that is dead and needs to be released so it can be buried. You cannot hold back from this change anymore because it is starting to rot, you need to let whatever expectation or past attachment to something GO for something new to flourish.

PRESENT – Heart chakra and the Body of the cannabis plant: Three of Swords is saying that because of that death that you refuse to let go of, you are going to need to CRY, SCREAM, EMOTIONALLY LET GO of whatever you have been holding onto and that will release you so you can move on. To allow your emotions to be shown, so you can cut that dead and decaying thing from your life and finally let it (and YOU!) rest/move on in peace. 

NEAR FUTURE – Crown chakra and the Flower of the cannabis plant: Queen of Cups says that when you cut through that death you’ve been denying, by releasing your emotions around it, you will have gained a mastery around Royal Queen energy of emotional well being, and you will be able to rule over your emotional nature with wise counsel and being in the future. The Queen of Cups brings a great possibility for your internal mastery, but you have to step into those emotions to master them and be able to receive the lesson within it. 

All in all, she has a shift in paths that she is facing, but this divergence is about letting go of the past patterns so she can start to open up to receiving the larger wisdoms for her soul past just a small, one-lifetime career concern. She has mastery coming to her, through emotional regulation in the current situation, and has a fruitful and abundant future if she starts to seek her soul’s larger path and destiny in life overall! What a tremendously powerful reading for this soul that I am honored to be able to share with you all here on SKUNK. <3
