Relax, Unwind, and Take VAYCAY; a Florida Based Delta 8 and Various Cannabinoid Company

It started with a passion for cannabis and what cannabis can do for those fighting ailments/diseases/pain; followed by a work trip that established synergy through Delta 8, that created a concept during an outdoor sesh.

At the time, not many knew about Delta 8 but during that sesh, the now business partners: Chris Broby Hansen, Britt Traynham, Phil Freitas, Karly Thompson, and Kyrsten Schlyer discovered magic, shared passions, and shared beliefs in the power of the cannabinoid.

By the end of the sesh, the concept was born; launching a business in cannabis with a focus on Delta 8. The concept developed into a business they named Dosed, but that name came with some struggles. Chris explains:

“We launched in 2021 during the pandemic and named the company Dosed. We started getting warnings and shadowbanned on social media platforms because they flagged us as posting Covid content. Also, there are a lot of companies out there with ‘dosed’ somewhere in the business name and we felt like maybe we were getting reported, so we knew we needed to change the company name.”

In spirituality, 111/1111 are powerful number patterns that mean new opportunities, new beginnings, and/or alignment. On a flight to Florida on 11/1 in 2021, Chris said the new company name came to him, in full alignment with the vision and mission of the brand and products- VAYCAY.

VAYCAY is a Florida based hemp company offering Delta 8 and various cannabinoids in their line of products. The range of VAYCAY products offer the same mental vibes as being on vacation with the added bonus of contributing to healing and wellness.

Delta 8 helped and continues to help Chris in his healing and wellness journey, he calls it “my happy medium.” VAYCAY was created for the person that wants to enjoy cannabis and the various cannabinoids, including THC but not the potent stuff. Don’t Take a Trip, Take VAYCAY

VAYCAY could create potent products that take people on trips and journeys but they don’t want that. Chris and the team are firm believers in the happy medium approach when creating their products. Chris says:

“With VAYCAY, there is no darkness, no negative, no paranoia. We don’t want people to trip when consuming our products. People have moved away from cannabis because the potency was too much resulting in bad trip and/or experience. With VAYCAY, it’s all about light and easy. We want to take people on a VAYCAY.”

For those that can’t consume potent products because they need to be focused and alert, but also need to treat a condition/pain, Chris says that Delta 8 is great for that. He says: “I have friends that are accountants, engineers, traders, etc. and they have all said that Delta 8 has been great for focus”.

Chris believes this is how we make cannabis a lifestyle, get people out of the cannabis closet, and fight a system telling us lies.

What’s Coming Up for VAYCAY

 

We asked Chris what’s next for VAYCAY:

“We are launching our Sour Fuji Apple gummies this month, a skincare lineup in December that will be available online and at the Refinery Laser & Aesthetics Center in Clearwater, FL, and those attending Cannadelic Miami in February 2023 can catch us at booth 942.”
