The Cindy Congo Rundown—Hierarchy Etc.
Yo my esteemed homeskillets! This Cindy Congo MILF recently appeared in the hardcopy version of SKUNK Magazine, and because this sativa queen is so extra special, I wanted to make sure all of you got a chance to get the 411 on her, and possibly even open your eyes wide to the world of true sativas. Sometimes I hear peeps say “sativas suck!” Heh heh, and I agree that many do suck, that are available commercially, that are just basically watered-down versions of themselves. You also need to be a truly skilled sativa grower to see what the real ones are made of, and not just think you are—LoL…
I’m super excited to bring you all this blast from the past MILF (Marijuana I’d Love to Find). The Cindy Congo by KOS is a very special 2-way hybrid, its longer flowering times will discourage many a grower, but not those dyed-in-the-wool sativa fans, like me. Especially considering the intense potency on this one, if she’s done well. These are available over at KOS – Kingdom Organic Seeds Online – right now, in the F2 generation; excellent true breeders’ stock! The flowering times can vary quite a bit here, but the longer flowering phenotypes are the ones you really want, in my opinion. They are the ones that also have those powerful and exotic sativa facets to them.
I sourced the land race Congo genetics from my old buddy “Tokestar” from South Africa. The Cindy Congo is a Cinderella 99 (male) I hybridized with the Congolese, the Congo possibly had some Swazi or Malawi present as well, he didn’t think so, but said it was possible. and the old land race Congo genetics walked all over the Cinderella, but she turned out excellent and just dripping with resin. This baybee is a true sativa wild child. The original Congolese female P1 breeder went every bit of 20 weeks in flowering. The Cinderella brought down that flowering time significantly.
Growing Information
GROWER: Rev
She yields big, for sativa genetics, and in 3-gallon pots under 400-watt HID lighting I got about 3 oz. of prime buds per plant. They were about 3’ tall (and in serious bondage). She grows crazy fast and has a wicked stretch to her and she can easily get 3x her size from start of flowering to harvest. You will likely need some bondage, and I would always flower clones of the seedling plants in containers. The Cindy Congo is crazy-ass sativa here, with vigor in spades. Don’t take her early, and make SURE she is at least 55 days old from seed before attempting to flower her—and she will be huge by then, so take clones and flower those indoors.
The Cindy Congo would grow outdoors exceptionally well in hot dry climates, inland away from the (moist) coastline. Some phenotypes will go all the way until the last week of October or even the first week of November. She is an absolute monster outdoors!
Growing sativas is much different than other cannabis varieties, a much lighter touch is needed, and over-loving them can prove fatal; to them. Not only will you need to grow her well, keeping her happy, but you will also need to have excellent skills when it comes to drying and curing. I have seen many great sativas become mediocre due to bad drying/curing. If you pull the Cindy Congo off well, she is going to blow your mind!
Cindy Congo Smoke-Out Deets
My sample was grown all naturally TLO ( True Living Organics 2nd Edition by Rev ) supernatural style, by yours truly. This is my “apple pie” type of weeds when I have some around. Cindy Congo has a real cosmic effect, making my brain feel like it is shooting through the universe and expanding to places way out of the box. Her clarity allows you to recall and employ those inspiring perceptual enhancements. She gets a huge, “OMG I love this stuff” rating from me. Cindy Congo has that ability to just blow away any effects of whatever you smoked before her, taking over that high, and blowing your doors with intense new effects.
This is the kind of exotic variety you will not find in just any pot-shop my green friends. True kick ass sativa genetics like this are hard to find these days, a lot of watered down sativas are what is out there. The Cindy Congo, and especially the Congo parts of her, are literally, and strikingly potent. These are dventure weeds to be sure, but also contain a good dash of “down the rabbit hole” to her. Take a stroll over to KOS online and have a look. If you want to read about some additional stellar exotics, start out with another MILF from me, here at SKUNK baybee: Velvet Haze MILF Rev’s Rave

I hail from Southern California, spent mucho time in Northern California, and now reside in Southern Oregon; always coastal. I am an all natural style cannabis grower and I have written a couple books on the subject - check out True Living Organics 2nd Edition on Amazon - I have been growing for over 45 years, and I have been breeding cannabis for over 30 years. Check out kingdomorganicseeds.com to see some exotic selections. Growing connoisseur cannabis is what I teach mostly, growing it in living soil without using liquid organic nutrients to feed the plant. I am also a highly skilled synthetics grower, hydroponics, aeroponics, DWC/SWC/NFT, Ebb and Flow, and soilless, but I cringe when smoking synthetic grown herbs, so for the last 15 years or so I preach the artisan style of all natural growing, specializing in container growing. Cheers and welcome aboard.
