reserve your ad hereGreetings earthlings, once again Rev here comin’ at you, with another Rave, Chunky Cherry Thai baybee! I have recently harvested this one, and smoked some of her lower buds. What a treat. Very Thai dominant regarding resin properties, per effects. Even her looks, with that sugar coated dark green and dark red look; you could build pretty legit looking Thai Sticks out of these buds.

These really are magical sativa dominant plants here. The flavors are like dank Thai, with that slight fruity, or sweet background on the exhale. Smells like pure acrid death, LoL. Another Thai line over at KOS, the Riffraff Thai, is much more of a hybrid, expressing a true hammer to body and mind. The Chunky Cherry Thai is much more of a serious sativa ride, a little body, but it just smooths it out.
Check out the MILF Rev’s Rave – Riffraff Thai, A Crazy Good Hybrid – Skunk Magazine! Also, the best way to appreciate all the many facets of your organically grown cannabis, is with TLO style baybee! Okay, onward we go…

The Rundown—Hierarchy Etc.
The (paternal P1) father, is two individual male Deep Chunks. Deep Chunk (DC) is a long IBL Hashplant indica from Afghanistan, introduced and inbred by Tom Hill long ago. Since getting Deep Chunk almost 2 decades ago, I have inbred her 3 or 4 times, leaning towards the larger sized and larger yielding purple phenotypes with the greatest resin production. I originally got these DC seeds from my old buddy “Moonshineman” (Jay), who got them directly from Tom Hill.
The (maternal P1) mother, KOS’s own Cherry Thai that I made over a decade ago. She is a hybrid of Cherry Bomb and two different Thai females. The Cherry Bomb was an F3 out of Hawaii that combined 3 landrace/cultivar Hawaiian sativas and the legendary Cherry AK47. One of the Thai females was my own “Batdambang” Thai I got from my cousin directly from Vietnam, a true deadly gooey Thai indeed. The other Thai female was a legit Juicyfruit Thai (the 14-week version) from a Holland breeder connection I had.

Growing Information for Chunky Cherry Thai
GROWER: The Rev
The Chunky Cherry Thai is very easy to grow. There are at least 3 phenotypes I know of. A faster, slightly harder hitting pheno that finishes at 60 days. She is shorter, with less hairs (pistils) in her flowers. She is a very hard hitter and has slightly higher body impact, as well as all the head. There is also a giant phenotype, and of course the “regular” phenotype. All have huge, dense colas.

Afterword: Smoking Chunky Cherry Thai with Rev
The Chunky Cherry Thai’s potency is severe, and on the slightly spacy side as well. Peeps that get paranoid from some sativas should approach this one with some caution the first time trying her out. A lot of fun is what this variety is, hell I’m a super-Thai-fan, and there are two of the best Thai strains I’ve ever had in this cross. It took me the first half of 2019 to select the Cherry Thai female P1 mother for this cross. The Deep Chunks were selected for resin production, size/stretch, yield, and purple expressions.
I hope everyone is staying as happy as possible. Might even get a cool summer, this year, damn! I’m staying pretty hunkered down with the new book, man, it’s really gonna rock it. And I’m not just saying that because I wrote it, Bahahaha. If you are going to get the new book when it’s out, make sure to have a copy of the 2nd Edition too, it’s great for a lot of referencing materials. The new book is all new and not a further revised edition. The new one is called – The Druids’ Guide – to TLO. I’m very proud of it. Writing a book is likely harder than you may think.
See ya all back here next Tuesday at SKUNK for another article by yours truly; every week baybee! I hope you guys are diggin’ on my digital stuffs. L8r G8rs…

I'm The Rev, and I have been with SKUNK for about a decade now. I hail from Southern California, spent mucho time in Northern California, and now reside in Southern Oregon; always coastal. I am an all natural style cannabis grower and I have written a couple books on the subject - check out True Living Organics 2nd Edition on Amazon - I have been growing for over 45 years, and I have been breeding cannabis for over 30 years. Check out kingdomorganicseeds.com to see some exotic selections. Growing connoisseur cannabis is what I teach mostly, growing it in living soil without using liquid organic nutrients to feed the plant. I am also a highly skilled synthetics grower, hydroponics, aeroponics, DWC/SWC/NFT, Ebb and Flow, and soilless, but I cringe when smoking synthetic grown herbs, so for the last 15 years or so I preach the artisan style of all natural growing, specializing in container growing. Cheers and welcome aboard.
