This baybee isn’t commercially available, at present, but I have a funny feeling she will be back in 2021. The Candyman Haze is a variant of the Rusty Haze hybrid, all KOS bred. The Rusty Haze line (genotype) was divided into two breeding lineages: The Rusty, and Candyman Hazes. Delicious candy/bubblegum notes abound in the Candyman Haze variant.
Growing highly exotic cannabis, it really pays to grow it right. If you ask me there is only one right way to grow, and that is all-naturally, organic, using living soil. For more information on this style of growing check out my latest True Living Organics 2nd Edition.
As I eluded to above, I am inbreeding the Candyman Haze next. Right after I get through with my current inbreeding project, the Riffraff Thai. The Riffraff Thai will be going to F2, but the Candyman will be going to F4—oohlala! That’s officially IBL territory! Let’s rock and/or roll my fine green amigos…

There are approx. 3:1 Candyman Haze phenotypes in the F3 generation. About 1:3 will be more Haze dominant, and have slightly smaller yields. Mostly having acrid Haze, and cat pissy terpenes regarding flavors and smells. Boom! Love that.
I have yet to see, or even hear of a bad female, from these seeds. For the F4s, I will be targeting the Candyman phenotypes only for inbreeding. This should result in almost uniform Candyman offspring. At least 4:1 (4 out of 5) should express that way.
The Father P1 was SOG’s Bubble and Squeak #1. A Cheese x Bubblegum hybrid. A giant yielding resin covered queen of kickass. A true Indica-bomb from hell. I got these seeds between 2006 and 2008.
The Mother P1 was Dutch Flowers’ Metal Haze. A super old school Haze from the way-back machine. I got 10 of these seeds from Dutch Flowers, and ended up with 4 females. 3 of the females were so-so, or sucked somewhat. But there was one pure winner female Metal Haze; which I kept in clone form for years. The Candyman Haze has some serious parental lines indeed. This was all around 2006 to 2008, or so.
Growing Information for Candyman Haze
GROWER: Rev
Male to female ratios are a tad male heavy. Out of 10 sprouts, 5 or 6 will be males. However, all the females are major ass kickers. Very tolerant to wide pH ranges, very hearty, vigorous, and super easy to clone/root. They do well indoors or outdoors. Outdoors these can get really large if they are very happy. They are also incredibly stinky while flowering, so beware of that.
KOS always recommends letting our genetics get at least 55 days old from seed before initiating flowering. This is to insure the most resin production. Always grow KOS gear all organically if possible, for the best quality, potency, flavors, and smells, from your herbs. The Candyman Haze is very easy to grow and not fussy at all. She doesn’t do well in high humidity. This is due to the sheer size and density of her colas.
Any Metal Haze dominant phenotypes will always go a little longer in flowering. Up to 11 weeks. The Candyman Haze types will finish in just about 70 days (10 weeks). In the upcoming F4 Candyman Haze release, there may still emerge a Metal Haze dominant plant here and there. Mostly all Candyman though for sure, and 90% uniform.
Afterword: Smoking Her, with Rev
I love both of the phenotypes in this F3 generation of Candyman Haze. The Candyman phenotype is a “Jell-O Sledgehammer” from the gods—LoL—it’s so true. Not a sleepy-time smoke to be sure, but I would call her a couch-locker sort. Disabling, even, heh heh. The flavors and smells are divine, to my old-school palate, and the South East Asian (SEA) terpenes from the Metal Haze are the real attention getter. Again, for me, because I love me some South East Asian cannabis baybee! There is a lot of SEA influence in several KOS varieties, so go have a looksee.
The Candyman Haze has just enough of that SEA influence to extend the “legs” (duration of effect) and the mind expansion qualities of the high-type. A real deal “down the rabbit hole” type. If ya know what I mean, heh heh.
I may not choose to do something like rollerblading, or mountain biking, high on the Candyman Haze. However, I would go hiking, or a walkabout, play videos, go out and be social maybe; depending upon how much I smoked. It’s awesome for me to write, after smoking. She’s a bit of a muse even. Creating any art would be amazing while under her influence. She’ll def “open doors” in your mind.
Hope you all dug on today’s MILF Rev’s Rave. Come back next week for another article right here at SKUNK baybee. It’ll be like ‘Tuesdays with Rev’ – LoL. I publish almost always on Monday evening every week. The Candyman Haze will be returning to KOS next year (2021), so watch for her if you are interested. A super recombination here, resulting in a highly exotic IBL. Candyman Haze will be at F4 when re-released. I consider that to be IBL status. L8r G8rs.

I hail from Southern California, spent mucho time in Northern California, and now reside in Southern Oregon; always coastal. I am an all natural style cannabis grower and I have written a couple books on the subject - check out True Living Organics 2nd Edition on Amazon - I have been growing for over 45 years, and I have been breeding cannabis for over 30 years. Check out kingdomorganicseeds.com to see some exotic selections. Growing connoisseur cannabis is what I teach mostly, growing it in living soil without using liquid organic nutrients to feed the plant. I am also a highly skilled synthetics grower, hydroponics, aeroponics, DWC/SWC/NFT, Ebb and Flow, and soilless, but I cringe when smoking synthetic grown herbs, so for the last 15 years or so I preach the artisan style of all natural growing, specializing in container growing. Cheers and welcome aboard.
