After five editions in Barcelona, the Autoflower World Cup moves onto German grounds with what is shaping up to be its most ambitious and internationally curated edition yet. Bringing together legendary breeders, experienced growers, journalists, educators, hash makers, content creators and the new generation of autoflower enthusiasts, the 2026 edition reflects how far autoflower genetics have evolved in recent years.
And one thing is already clear heading into Berlin:
The level keeps rising.

Going into its 6th edition, the Autoflower World Cup already knows that its community kept improving and learning through experience, by either winning or losing, while each year the professionalism and quality of the genetics keeps growing bigger and bigger. Now, with a new city, new energy and new generations blended together with seasoned growers and breeders, the 2026 lineup is shaping into one of the strongest the Cup has ever seen.
The response was massive not only in the number of genetics submitted for competition, but also in attendance interest for the Awards Ceremony aboard the June 13th boat cruise on the Spree River in Berlin.
As of now, the Awards Ceremony is officially sold out.
To open the experience to a larger part of the community, the Cup is hosting Open Judging Days on June 10th and 11th at Up’N’Smoke Berlin by Stonerz Berlin. Visitors will be able to spend time around the judges while they analyze entries, discuss terpene profiles and score genetics, while also connecting with growers and breeders from across Europe and the US.

The Open Judging Days will also host the first European activation of Breeders Village, created by Julie Chiariello and SKUNK Magazine.
At the heart of Breeders Village is a deep respect for the stewardship of the soul breeder, honoring generations of work behind line breeding, stabilization, pheno hunting, preservation and collaboration, all rooted in genetic stewardship and preservation. The activation creates direct-to-community engagement where growers and enthusiasts can meet breeders, learn about genetics and connect with the people behind the work.
On June 11th, Allora Labs, the laboratory responsible for analyzing entries in the Highest THC category, will also host an educational discussion focused on terpenes, cannabinoids and cannabis testing.
Visitors can join these days at Up’N’Smoke by paying a fee of 10Eur at the door.

Competition categories for the 2026 edition include Sativa Dominant Autoflower, Indica Dominant Autoflower, Best New Autoflower 2026, Best CBD Autoflower, Highest THC Autoflower and the community-voted Best Autoflower Breeder category, where in the past edition we’ve seen taking the podium Fast Buds and Mephisto Genetics.
Leading the judges panel once again is Sasha AKA The Joint Doctor from Doctor’s Choice, creator of Lowryder and the founder of modern autoflower genetics.
Returning rolling sponsor OCB also expands its involvement through a judging table featuring European ambassadors including Stephanie Quatro, Jam Locos and Arnau Tango.
Additional judges joining the 2026 roster include Michael Knodt, Rob CLTV, ICanTHC, Pigeons420, Northern Scrogger, Mavi Ferreira, Timm Terpentino and Max Buechse.
The 2026 edition is also proudly supported by industry partners helping shape modern cultivation and post-harvest standards worldwide, including AC Infinity in partnership with GrowTechnology.de, Grove Bags, Biobizz, Cannatrol, PAX and SANlight.

From Open Judging Days and Breeders Village to sunset smoke sessions cruising through Berlin on the Spree, the 2026 edition of the Autoflower World Cup is shaping into one of the most important international gatherings in modern autoflower culture.
From homegrowers running their first balcony plant to world-class breeders competing on international stages, the autoflower movement continues proving that passion and genetics can build communities far beyond borders.

Let’s write history together!
Bis bald!
